Face Tracking Addon

Install the framework first, then apply your avatar addon.

This guide covers the setup order that matters most after purchase: required tools, import order, addon application, and the first tuning areas users usually adjust after install.

Quick start

The first three steps customers actually need.

Step 1

Download both ZIP files from BOOTH: the avatar-specific addon and the Triturbo Face Tracking Framework bundle.

Step 2

Install the base avatar, Modular Avatar, BlendShare, and the Face Tracking Framework before importing the addon.

Step 3

Import the addon `.unitypackage`, open the `TriturboFT` window, assign the avatar, and apply the addon.

Key concepts

These are the settings people usually need next.

Preset choices

Expose the difference between `HD`, `SD`, and device-specific variants clearly. That choice affects sync cost and compatibility, so it should not be buried.

Mesh generation

Explain that the addon generates face-tracking meshes with BlendShare and that modified FBXs need careful handling to avoid vertex-order problems.

Post-install tuning

Most users will need eye and mouth adjustments after installation. Surface those settings early instead of hiding them in advanced pages.
